Overview

Quetext is a web-based writing-integrity tool. It offers plagiarism checking, detection of AI-generated content, citation generation and a paraphrasing assistant. While it started with academic use, it also targets content creators and professionals.

If you publish content (academic, blog, professional), you risk duplication, un-cited material or even AI-generated text that you didn’t intend. Quetext helps you scan your writing for those issues so you can fix them before publishing. This reduces risk (academic infractions, SEO penalties, brand reputation damage) and gives you confidence in your originality.

You upload or paste text into Quetext. Its “DeepSearch™” engine scans billions of online sources, performs contextual and “fuzzy” matching, flags exact and near-matches, and returns a color-coded report. It also offers line-by-line AI content detection and a citation generator for MLA/APA/Chicago formats.  On paid plans you get higher word-limits, bulk uploads, integration with Google Drive/OneDrive.

FAQ

Can I use Quetext for commercial content (blogs, marketing) or is it just for students?
Yes, you can. While it has strong academic use cases, Quetext supports content creators, marketers and agencies. The paid plans allow larger volume checks and features relevant for professionals.
How many words can I check per month?
On the free plan it’s very limited (e.g., ~500 words for plagiarism). Paid plans increase word limits (e.g., ~100,000 words/month on Essential plan). For very large volumes you’ll need the Professional or custom plan.
Can I edit or customize the reported output?
Yes, you get reports showing flagged sections and you can use the paraphrasing tool (AITutorMe) to rewrite or refine flagged passages. You can also generate citations for those sections.
Does Quetext provide an API for integration with our content workflow?
No clear public documentation shows an API. The site and sources suggest you use their web interface. If you need full automation, you may need to contact them directly.
Does my uploaded text get stored, or reused by Quetext?
According to the company, privacy is standard: they claim not to republish user texts. Independent review said they “do not store or sell” your documents.
What support and SLA do I get?
The site offers a Help Center and FAQ. There is no widely publicized live chat or enterprise SLA detailed publicly. For teams you may need to discuss terms with them.
What extra do I get in the top plan compared to the basic plan?
On higher tier you get significantly more word-quota, bulk uploads (20+ files or 100+ files), Google Drive/OneDrive integration, grammar & spell check features, the paraphrasing tool and greater flexibility.
