Ora is a cloud-based project and task management application. It offers a flexible workspace where you can organize work as simple task lists, Kanban boards, spreadsheets, timelines, or more complex agile workflows. It also includes built-in chat, time tracking, issue tracking, and multiple project views — all under one roof.
Many teams end up juggling multiple tools: one for chat, one for tasks, another for time tracking or sprints. Ora bundles these together so you don’t have to switch between apps. That saves time, reduces context-switching, and helps keep work visible. It’s especially useful for small teams, startups, agencies, remote or hybrid teams, and freelancers who want a simple but capable all-in-one workspace.
You create an “organization” (or work solo) then build projects. Inside each project you can choose different “views” — e.g. list, board (Kanban), table, calendar, timeline. Tasks/cards can have due dates, assignees, file attachments, subtasks, relationships (dependencies), milestones, labels/types (bug, feature, chore, etc.).
You can also track time on tasks (start a timer or log manually), chat with team members inside the workspace (channels or direct chat), hold video calls, comment on tasks, mention people, etc.
For agile software teams: sprint/planning support, issue tracking + integration with git-based tools (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket) — good for linking commits/issues to tasks.
