Alitu is a web-based platform that bundles every step of podcast production — from recording or uploading audio, to cleaning, editing, and publishing. It also includes hosting and a simple webpage for your show. Unlike traditional DAWs (digital audio workstations), Alitu offers a streamlined, beginner-friendly interface that avoids technical complexity.
transcription. For many independent creators, this technical overhead is a big barrier. Alitu removes much of that friction: it reduces editing burden, automates cleanup and formatting, and lets you publish quickly. That means you can focus on content rather than technical details. It’s especially useful if you’re new, time-constrained, or want to avoid outsourcing editing.
- You can record directly in Alitu (solo or remote call) or upload existing audio.
- Alitu then automates audio cleanup: noise reduction, EQ/leveling, removing filler words or silences, and generally polishing your audio.
- Editing is simple: either text-based (transcript) or waveform-based editing — so you cut content like editing a text doc, or fine-tune like a classic audio editor.
- You can add intro/outro music, theme music, transitions, and use a built-in music library.
- After editing, you can publish directly, using Alitu’s built-in hosting or link to an external host. A free podcast website is provided.
The platform supports episode scheduling, automatic transcription, and show notes editing for each episode.
