Snoop is a UK-based personal finance app that connects with your bank accounts and credit cards using secure Open Banking tech. It aggregates your financial data to give you a real-time view of all your money, spending patterns, bills, and potential savings in one place.
Instead of manually tracking transactions across multiple bank apps or spreadsheets, Snoop automatically categorizes your spending and highlights ways to save — including suggestions to cut fees, stop unused subscriptions, switch to cheaper services, or spot price hikes. This helps everyday users manage money more efficiently.
After downloading the app and securely connecting accounts via Open Banking, Snoop analyzes your transactions, categorizes spending, highlights trends, and produces personalized money-saving suggestions (called “Snoops”). Users can also set budgets, track refunds, and build savings directly through the app. There’s a free tier and a paid upgrade (Snoop Plus) with expanded features like custom categories, unlimited alerts, manual accounts, and detailed reports.
