Can I use Airtable’s output/data commercially (e.g., for internal apps or client projects)?
▼
Yes – you own the data you enter and the bases you build. The SaaS gives you the environment. Just check any plan-specific restrictions (such as seats) when using for client work.
How many records or users can I have per plan?
▼
On the Free plan you’re limited to ~1,000 records per base and 1 GB attachment storage. Paid plans lift these limits (e.g., Team ~50,000 records/base, Business ~125,000 records/base) but you’ll hit higher limits if you scale further.
Also seats are billed per “editor/creator” user; read-only users may not count.
Can I customise the interface or add my branding?
▼
Yes, you can build custom views and interfaces with Interface Designer, but some branding/customization may be restricted in lower tiers. Always check plan details for branding removal, header images etc.
Does Airtable integrate with other tools or have an API?
▼
Yes, Airtable has a public API, supports integrations with Slack, Google Drive, Salesforce, Jira, etc.
Does Airtable train their AI models on my data (privacy concern)?
▼
They have AI features, but you'd need to review their privacy/data policy to confirm how user content is handled. If you’re in a sensitive industry, you’ll want to check enterprise-level governance.
What do I get in the top plan vs the starter plan?
▼
Upgrading from Free → Team gives you far higher record/storage limits, more views/automations and collaboration seats. Moving to Business adds admin controls, sync, audit/logging and much larger dataset capacities. Enterprise adds full governance, SSO, custom support and scale.
